STEMMA
Log in Open your vault
The digital estate, kept whole

Everything your family would need, sealed in one place.

Stemma is an encrypted vault for the records a household actually runs on — passwords, deeds, brokerage logins, seed phrases, the letter you keep meaning to write. You hold the only key. When it's truly time, it passes to the people you chose.

The estate arithmetic

Unprepared is the default. The numbers say so.

$124T

passing between American generations over the next 25 years.

— Cerulli Associates
$1.65T

sitting unclaimed in 29 million forgotten 401(k) accounts.

— Capitalize, 2023
42%

of Americans wouldn't know where to start if a family member died tomorrow.

— Trust & Will, 2026
16 mo

the average time a family spends settling an estate.

— EstateExec

None of these numbers require a tragedy. Only a delay.

What belongs here

The things nobody can find when they suddenly have to.

Most estates don't fail on money. They fail on access — a locked phone, an unnamed bank, a wallet nobody knew existed. Stemma keeps the access itself.

Passwords & logins

Banking, email, utilities, the domain your business runs on — with the 2FA backup codes that actually get people in.

Documents

Deeds, titles, insurance policies, the will itself — plus where the signed originals physically live.

Finances & crypto

Brokerage access, account numbers, seed phrases and hardware-wallet locations — the part that is simply gone if it isn't written down.

Letters

Sealed messages for specific people, delivered with everything else. The instructions, and the things that aren't instructions.

Before any of that

Useful this year, not just someday.

A vault you only open at the end never gets filled. This one earns its place in the household now.

TAX SEASON

Statements, deeds and policies in one sealed place — shared with your CPA in minutes, unshared just as fast.

SECOND FACTORS

2FA codes generate inside the vault, so a lost phone is an errand — not a lockout.

ONE HOUSEHOLD, ONE SOURCE

Shared entries keep the utilities, the registrar and the insurance current for both of you — while you're here, not just after.

How it works

Three decisions, made once.

SEAL

Put it in writing, once

Add accounts, documents and keys as you think of them. Everything is encrypted on your device before it leaves; we store ciphertext we cannot open.

ASSIGN

Name who gets what

Choose beneficiaries per item or across the vault. Your spouse sees the finances; your executor sees the will; nobody sees anything today.

RELEASE

Release only when verified

Delivery waits for the conditions you set — a verified death record, or check-ins you stop answering. You can pause or change it any time you're here.

The honest objections

You've thought about this before. Here's where it usually stops.

“I don't have time.”

The first session is about twenty minutes. Settling an unprepared estate averages sixteen months. That's the trade.

“My spouse knows where everything is.”

Most of it. Not the passphrase, the 2FA resets, or which wallet is the real one — access is the part that never gets said out loud.

“I already keep a folder.”

A folder can't verify a death record, wait thirty days to be sure, or show only the right pages to the right person. It also burns.

“It feels morbid.”

Writing it down doesn't hasten anything. It just means the worst week arrives with instructions instead of a search.

Security, stated plainly

Your vault is encrypted before it reaches us, with a key derived from a passphrase only you know. We could not read it under subpoena, acquisition, or our own curiosity.

The other side of the vault

For the person who receives it, it isn't a product.

It's a quiet handover on the worst week of their life: the accounts already named, the deed already found, your letter on top. No password guessing, no drawer-by-drawer search, no calling banks with a death certificate on the desk.

Beneficiaries don't install anything today. They're invited when — and only when — release conditions are met.
